It began simply. I was trying to find any excuse not to study to take the Real Estate exam, when I discovered a jewelry making class. My years as an Art and Art History major at UCLA were finally about to serve a purpose. My love of color, composition and design compounded with my obsession with turquoise, sea shells, coral (amongst other natural and organic stones) and hand-crafted silver from around the world turned into the perfect marriage.

As a 3rd generation Southern California native, I grew up on the beaches in Santa Monica, Malibu and San Diego collecting sea shells, beach glass and old wood. To this day, my connection to the beach serves as inspiration for my work.

When began by making jewelry for myself, I had no idea that soon my family, friends, and even strangers alike would be begging to see and buy my hand-made creations. I seek out the most interesting and unique hand-crafted materials I can find. I wear all the jewelry to make sure they not only feel good, but get the reaction I’m looking for.

I believe that both great women and great jewelry are timeless. I make bold statement pieces that complement a woman’s personality and define her character. I don’t think that jewelry should be “appropriate” for a woman’s age or size. All women are beautiful. My hand-crafted pieces are as ageless and timeless as are the women who wear them. I hope you’ll share them with a loved one, with friends or simply as a reward to yourself, because you deserve it.
